Plants for Hydroseeding Interventions

In Plants for Hydroseeding Interventions, Armando Maravilla and Felipe Arath Macías present hydroseeding as an alternative technique for vegetating extensive areas through the use of species such as Vachellia farnesiana, Baccharis salicifolia, and Dichondra sericea. 

Hydroseeding is a technique that allows large surfaces to be vegetated using a liquid mixture of water, seeds, fertilizers, and binding polymers. Its application is especially useful on slopes, road edges, and urban areas that are difficult to plant by other means. Species selection is key: establishing them from seed favors their adaptation to existing conditions and promotes the formation of stable plant communities. For this purpose, having a seed bank or a specialized nursery makes a difference.

Hydroseeding is a planting technique that makes it possible to intervene in large areas that are difficult to plant using conventional methods.
