High-altitude plants
Get to know with Armando Maravilla and Arath Macías the species that we can find and propose within the mountainous landscape in High-altitude plants.
Plants respond to different environmental conditions to adapt. As altitude changes, vegetation also changes, completely transforming the landscape as one ascends. In the higher parts of the mountains, species capable of tolerating extreme conditions, such as low temperatures, strong wind gusts, and intense sun exposure, can be found. However, these plants have developed unique characteristics that allow them to survive, adapt, and dominate the landscape of these inhospitable areas, thus demonstrating their survival capacity.
