Mexican Avocado

Armando Maravilla presents plant species for the Conservation of wild vegetation.

HABITAT
Located in the highlands of central Mexico and in the south of the trans-Mexican volcanic belt, at altitudes greater than 1000 m, in warm humid to semirid climates, in its natural habitat it is distributed on the slopes of the region.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The pulp of the criollo avocado is ideal for the preparation of spreadable foods, such as guacamole. It is also used to extract oil, which is used in the cosmetic industry.
