Mountains—imposing, majestic, and ancient—remind us that landscape is not merely a backdrop, but a living witness to the natural and cultural history of our planet.

In this edition, Landuum pays tribute to vertical landscapes that inspire us to contemplate, climb, protect, and design with respect. Through bilingual articles (Spanish–English), interviews, projects, and visual essays, we explore the relationship between landscape architecture and steep, elevated, and irregular terrain.
