HABITAT
This species is common in evergreen and deciduous forests, it frequently occurs along river banks and thickets, in the north-central area of the country and the Mexican Pacific coast.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
It needs high temperatures to develop optimally, especially in summer. Does not tolerate low temperatures. Pollina!ion with bees is necessary to bear fruit.
