✨ Landuum No. 34 – Artistic Landscape
Unlike the art found in museums—paintings, sculptures, or photographs that we admire from a distance and cannot touch—landscape design is experienced through the body.
It is not only seen; it is felt. It lives in emotion and in the way our senses interpret the world. Sometimes it reveals itself in a garden or a park; at other times, it appears in a flower, in the texture of a tree trunk, in birdsong, or in an ephemeral gesture that transforms space for just a moment. In any of its forms, the landscape can also be a work of art: living, ever‑changing, and deeply human. In this edition, Artistic Landscape, we open a conversation between art and nature.
A dialogue born of sensitivity, but also of responsibility: because caring for the landscape means caring for public space, biodiversity, and the bonds that sustain us as a community. In these pages, we will speak of plants and animals as living works of art—their colors, forms, textures, and movements remind us that beauty is also part of balance. We will also explore projects and interventions that reaffirm landscape design as a unique artistic discipline: one in which human beings create with living beings, with matter that grows, changes, and transforms over time.
We invite you to experience the landscape as art: to observe it calmly, to feel it with all your senses, and to discover, in every detail, a form of living beauty.
