If architecture shows the extent of the spirit and the reflection of the values of the human being, the urban landscape shows the extent of the community spirit and the reflection of the values of a society. Throughout history, the urban landscape has been the result of the relationships between the environmental, social, economic and political factors of a culture in one place. If these relations were perceived in cities in a clear and harmonious way before, we are currently going through a crisis of rupture between the different elements that make up a city.<\/p>\n
Every day we live in more anonymous cities, where we no longer know the name of our neighbors, transiting the spaces has become a priority trip to the car where we lose contact with our environment, every day we divide more the areas, the rich of the poor, we build more private developments and we make less public space, and the few public spaces are lost as islands in a sea of concrete , lacking connectivity.<\/p>\n
Through the urban landscape we can recover, restore or design these relationships that can return us to live more walkable, greener, more social and more inclusive cities. In this spring 2018 edition we want to bring you closer to projects and initiatives that are adding efforts to the recovery of a sustainable urban landscape in every way. We have decided that from this edition 08, we will focus attention on our country: Mexico, as well as make public the content of our magazine, hoping to reach more and more readers from all over the world, consolidating ourselves as the most important digital landscape platform in the country.<\/p>\n
