The discourse about plants has changed in recent decades. Using vegetation only for aesthetic purposes takes away the environmental, cultural, and social value of a plant and reduces it to a decorative element. Reproducing and planting native species has become vital for the recovery of green spaces in cities due to their easy adaptation and lower maintenance, as well as providing a unique identity. However, there is still a long way to go, as information has been highly skewed, and the market is mainly focused on exotic species.<\/p>\n

Using vegetation only for aesthetic purposes takes away the environmental, cultural, and social value.<\/span><\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
