connection axis<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Autop.+Urbana+Siervo+de+la+Naci%C3%B3n,+Villa+de+Gpe+Xal,+Ecatepec+de+Morelos,+M%C3%A9x.\/@19.5206265,-99.0656065,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x85d1fa6f83e6006d:0xb1db41d06b27d18e!8m2!3d19.5206265!4d-99.0656065!16s%2Fg%2F11sg8gnlzk?entry=ttu\">Autopista Siervo de la Naci\u00f3n<\/a>, <\/span><b>meant a fracture in the territory as well as in urban relations and dynamics<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which created the need to counteract industrial area in which popular housing colonies have been formalized. <\/span><b>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.landuum.com\/en\/history-and-culture\/urban-oases-a-new-alternative-to-mitigate-the-effects-of-climate-change\/\">pollution<\/a> caused <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">by the Grand Canal, the main drain of the metropolis; large road infrastructures; and the lack of quality public spaces, <\/span><b>generate a deficient environment in terms of quality of life and the perception of security of the inhabitants.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Without denying that this road represents an urban edge, <\/span><b>the project was visualized as an opportunity for the recovery of green areas, public space and connectivity for the municipality of Ecatepec. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Parque del Dique was visualized as the central link of a system of parks and public spaces along the entire corridor. <\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_24213\" style=\"width: 625px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" property assigned for the park is an irregularly shaped land of 0.8 ha, delimited by Central Avenue and the Grand Canal. <\/span><b>This was perceived as a source of insecurity due to its lack of lighting and surveillance, in addition to being abandoned, contaminated and invaded.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project was conceived with a double purpose, to turn it into <\/span><b>an oasis of green spaces that will connect people with nature<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">; and at the same time, as <\/span><b>a safe corridor that will serve as a meeting and social space<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.landuum.com\/en\/history-and-culture\/inclusive-spaces-landscaping-and-universal-access\/\">inhabitants<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_24228\" style=\"width: 623px\" orthogonal design schemes towards soft and organic shapes that facilitate the movement and distribution of the program.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The resulting figures were treated with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.landuum.com\/en\/trends\/urban-equipment-and-inclusive-playgrounds\/\">texture<\/a> changes, forming a tapestry of color.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project was conceived as a <\/span><b>complex and dynamic system that has the task of interacting with its environment, establishing as design criteria: sustainability, safety and inclusion 400;\">\u201cThe project has the task of interacting with its environment, establishing as design criteria: sustainability, safety and inclusion of all users.\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hard and soft spaces were combined, creating a balance between permeable and non-permeable materials with the green areas of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.landuum.com\/en\/interventions\/mayfield-park\/\">park<\/a>. <\/span><b>Optimization of irrigation water is prioritized through vegetation with low water requirements and permeable pavements.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>The use of different materials and colors was explored, as well as a varied program that encouraged diverse physical activities and outdoor dynamics.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Visual permeability to and from the space, transparency in the arrangement of the elements, as well as lighting to generate a safe environment were the least environmental impact.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Quality, inclusive, efficient and safe public spaces were designed, where activities that promote <a href=\"https:\/\/www.landuum.com\/en\/interventions\/jin-wellbeing-county\/\">well-being<\/a> for its inhabitants can be carried out.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a result of the location and limitations, t<\/span><b>he park was designed with a free pedestrian route that, when crossed longitudinally, becomes a central road that branches<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: Reyes<\/p><\/div>\n<p><b>Inclusion and accessibility to the park<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are achieved through a complete program, <\/span><b>adaptable to give priority to all vulnerable groups with furniture for different abilities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, guaranteeing the safety of users at all times.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To the south of the walkway, with greater connection to the homes, <\/span><b>the children&#8217;s games were grouped.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> A vibrant space thanks to the diversity of colors and textures in the floors, as well as <\/span><b>the furniture that was designed to be low maintenance, flexible and, above all, allow free play, developing the imagination of all age ranges and abilities.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Picnic areas and benches were also integrated that, intertwined with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.landuum.com\/en\/plantae-and-fauna\/mexican-cigar-flower\/\">vegetation<\/a>, generate spaces for contemplation and rest.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_24223\" style=\"width: from roads<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, with an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.landuum.com\/en\/trends\/urban-equipment-and-inclusive-playgrounds\/\">outdoor gym<\/a> with warm-up equipment, functional training, free and integrated weights, and inclusive exercisers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As equipment for young people, a <\/span><b>skatepark <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">was built with several modules for different levels.
