{"id":23815,"date":"2023-11-27T09:53:18","date_gmt":"2023-11-27T15:53:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.landuum.com\/?p=23815"},"modified":"2023-11-27T09:53:18","modified_gmt":"2023-11-27T15:53:18","slug":"el-tiron","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.landuum.com\/en\/interventions\/el-tiron\/","title":{"rendered":"El Tir\u00f3n"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>FMT Estudio shares with us the intervention <strong>El Tir\u00f3n<\/strong>, a space that combines tradition and modernity in a natural environment, creating functional and aesthetically attractive spaces.<\/em><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>El Tir\u00f3n is a single-family residence project<\/strong> made up of two independent living spaces, <strong>framed by a high density of trees<\/strong> on the same narrow and irregular lot in one of the most traditional neighborhoods <strong>in the city of M\u00e9rida.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The architectural concept focuses on the permanence and fluidity of the space<\/strong>, guiding us through an interrupted linear path that flows along the terrain, interspersing volumes and courtyards as it unfolds. Both spaces share the same design concept, where <strong>materials are used in apparent finishes that honor craftsmanship and highlight the construction process.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The exterior of the building contrasts with the open spaces of the interior areas. <strong>The project has a minimal architectural footprint<\/strong> on the site to blend harmoniously into its natural surroundings and Moz<\/p><\/div>\n<p>All of this while <strong>maintaining a focus on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.landuum.com\/en\/history-and-culture\/climate-landscape\/\">environmental conservation<\/a> and ensuring that the architecture surrenders to the site, rather than the other way around.<\/strong> The final result is a serene enclosure with the minimum of expression and materials, designed for
